OUTLOOK:
Despite the overall positive nature of the data, stocks ran into a flurry of selling pressure in early going. Rest Buy fell on weak earnings. Materials stocks attracted plenty of interest. The sector climbed 2.3% to finish with the best gains of any major sector. Citigroup was a drag on the financial sector, which finished with a 0.1% gain. Oracle will report earnings today. Adobe beat estimates but lost 4% after hours. We don’t think ADBE is capable to move higher in the short-term.
